Juanita Wrestling

Anybody who has photos from the season is encouraged to follow the Rebel Wrestling Photos link, register an account, and upload photos from the season.  For site security, all accounts must be approved before they are allowed access to log in and create albums and upload photos so there may be a short delay before your account is activated.  Please be patient.

We took 5^th place at the Kingco 3A championships.  Congratulations to the following wrestlers who advanced to the Regional tournament which will be held at Liberty High School on Saturday February 13th.

Individual placers:

Cody Treddenbarger – 1^st at 285 pounds;

Phuoc Nguyen – 2^nd at 1-3 pounds;

Danny Baba – 2^nd at 119 pounds;

Logan McCallum – 2^nd at 171 pounds;

Jonathan Iwazaki – 3^rd at 112 pounds;

Michael Przystupa – 3^rd at 145 pounds;

Alternate: Jake McCornack – 4^th at 160 pounds.

Our wrestlers will face the top 5 placers of the Metro district.  Jake, as a 4^th place finisher, is an alternate.  That means he will prepare as if he will wrestle, because he will replace anyone in his weight class who doesn’t qualify for whatever reason (missing weight, sickness, skin issue, grades, etc.)
